- defect structure investigations in oxyfluoride glass-ceramics.

- investigations of structure of defects, luminescence centres and mechanisms by magnetic resonance spectroscopy techniques;
- investigations of structure of intrinsic and activator-related defects in oxyfluoride composites: fluoride micro/nano-crystals and glass matrixes, search for applications of materials.
